About Me

I am a 3rd Year Ph.D. Candidate at Montana State University. My passions include developing analytics software for neuronal systems, hiking/running in the mountains, and cooking good food!

Intercellular Calcium Dynamics

The chemical element, Calcium, plays a crucial role in the fundamental processes that provide our brain its function. I have developed analytics tools to track network wide communication utilizing calcium imaging.

Force Mediated Magnetic Nanoparticles

At the frontiers of mechanical nanosurgery, magnetic particles around 100 nm in diameter (over 100 times smaller than the width of a human hair) can be directed to specific components of the cell through surface coatings. Magnetic fields can be applied to manipulate the targeted cellular components.
